Square D Breaker Value Guide: QO, Homeline, PowerPact & Masterpact

6 min readMarch 19, 2026

Square D (Schneider Electric) is the most common brand we buy, and its lines span the full value range from inexpensive residential breakers to high-value industrial units.

The lines, from lower to higher value

QO and Homeline load-center breakers are common and widely available, so per-unit value is modest — but volume lots still add up.

PowerPact (B, H, J, L frames) molded-case breakers carry solid resale value, especially larger frames and higher amperages.

Masterpact (NW, NT) insulated-case and air breakers are high-value items, particularly larger frames and obsolete versions.

I-Line panelboards and the bolt-on breakers that go with them are consistently in demand.

What to document

Record the exact catalog number, amperage, voltage, poles, and interrupting rating. For PowerPact and Masterpact, note the frame and trip unit. Photos of the label make verification fast.
